Origin Connections are IPDF representations of represents Qlik Sense Library Connections as Origin Connections.
They are Origin Connections are captured during the Schema Snapshot > Origin Connections > Get Connections Tab process.

Step-by-step guide
To update an existing connectionOrigin Connection:
- In the Manage Tab click on the Edit link for a respective connectionOrigin Connection
- Type the following data:
- Description: free text description
- Notes (optional): free text optional notes
- User: required if the connection is OLEDB/ODBC and not Integrated Security
- Password: required if the connection is OLEDB/ODBC and not Integrated Security

Get Connection process captures only the Qlik Sense Library Connections visible by the user setup in the Qlik Sense Server link |

Running multiple times Get Connection process will upgrade update the existing Origin Connections and will add new Library Connections if run multiple times - this is achieved by the internal Qlik Sense Library Connection GUID - and will add the new connections |

Deleted Get Connection process will not remove already captured Qlik Sense Library Connections already capture by IPDF will not be removed from IPDF during the Get Connection process if those are deleted from the Qlik Sense Server. You have to remove those manually. |
