IPDF represents data source databases as Origin Databases.
Origin Databases are captured during Schema Snapshot > Origin Databases > Get Databases Tab process.

Origin Connections are required to get Origin Databases. In the current release, those are the supported connection types: , folder, OLEDB and ODBC.
During Get Databases process IPDF will use the Origin Connections to list all reachable databases - for OLEDB/ODBC connections - and the root folder for the folder connections.

Get Databases process will update the existing Origin Databases and will add new data source databases if run multiple timesDatabases if available. |

Get Databases process will not remove already captured data source databases from IPDF captured Databases if those are deleted from the data source serverservers or are not reachable anymore. You have to remove those Origin Databases manually. |
