Manage Tab

Origin Source Types Items are captured during the Schema Snapshot > Origin Connections > Get Connections Tab process.
They are used to identify the type of the Origin Connections (e.g. folder, ODBC, OLEDB).

There are no IPDF default values.

Take a Schema Snapshot Tab process and represents Database table/view/system table/QVD file fields.
Origin Items are associated to Origin Tables, QS Apps, Dictionary Entries and are loaded in the IPDF Schema Snapshot App.

To Edit records:

To change Origin Items data:

1. In the Manage Tab click on the New or Edit links link
2. Type the following data:Name:
    the name of the Origin Source Type
   1. Description: free text descriptionGovernance (optional): associated Governance item
   2. QVD Field Name: the QVD Field Name created during the QVD Builder process. This field can be changed manually or automatically through App Builder > QVD Templates > Apply QVD Template
   3. Notes (optional):  free text optional notes
