Qlik Sense Servers are the main link between inProcess Data Factory and Qlik Sense Servers.
IPDF uses Qlik Sense Server information to connect to Qlik Sense API and expand and automate many of the Qlik Sense Server capabilities.

There are no IPDF default values.

Manage Tab

To Add or Edit records:

  1. In the Manage Tab click on the New or Edit links
  2. Type the following data:
    1. Name: the name of the Qlik Sense Server
    2. Description: free text descriptionGovernance (optional): associated Governance item
    3. Notes (optional):  free text optional notes
    4. QS URL: Qlik Sense Server URL
    5. QS Domain: the domain of the QS User field
    6. QS User*: the user that will be logged to the Qlik Sense API
    7. QS Password: the password of the QS User field
    8. Governance (optional): associated Governance item
    9. Notes (optional):  free text optional notes

After setting up the Qlik Sense Server connection, click on the Test connection button to verify if all settings are working properly.

* All mapped and created Qlik Sense objects, such as Connections and Qlik Sense Applications, will be stored under the provided user credentials.

Dictionary Entry Types Qlik Sense Servers are required for Dictionary Entriesmultiple IPDF objects at different stages. Setting up a Qlik Sense Server connection unlocks many of the IPDF features

Deleting a Dictionary Entry Type Qlik Sense Server will exclude automatically all associated Dictionary Entriesother associated IPDF objects to this server
