Qlik Sense Servers are the main link between inProcess Data Factory and Qlik Sense Servers.
IPDF uses Qlik Sense Server information to connect to Qlik Sense API and expand and automate many of the Qlik Sense Server capabilities.

There are no IPDF default values.

Step-by-step guide

  1. In the Manage Tab click on the New or Edit links
  2. Type the following data:
    1. Name: the name of the Qlik Sense Server
    2. Description: free text description
    3. Governance (optional): associated Governance item
    4. Notes (optional):  free text optional notes
    5. QS URL: Qlik Sense Server URL
    6. QS Domain: the domain of the QS User field
    7. QS User*: the user that will be logged to the Qlik Sense API
    8. QS Password: the password of the QS User field

* All mapped and created Qlik Sense objects, such as Connections and Qlik Sense Applications, will be stored under the provided user credentials.


Dictionary Entry Types are required for Dictionary Entries

Deleting a Dictionary Entry Type will exclude automatically all associated Dictionary Entries
