Manage Tab
Fields on this sheet include Name, Description (both can be updated here using the edit button). Clicking on the QS App URL will open a new browser tab for the Qlik Sense application. These applications only contain load script - no data or UI is present, so when you click on the link it is normal to get a message from the Qlik Sense hub indicating that the app contains no data. The Updated Date Time indicates the last time the application was updated in the Qlik Sense hub and the Status indicates whether or not the application was discovered on the Qlik Sense server the last time the button Check App Status button was clicked.
You can also use this tab to apply a new load script to existing builders. To do this:
Step-by-step guide
select the check box in the header to choose all applications or make individual selections
select a valid QS App Template from the drop down list
click the button labeled Update Load Script
To update names or descriptions of individual apps., click the Edit link in the second colum
This data can be updated

Create QS Apps Tab
The the Create QS Apps tab is used for initiating the process that creates the applications which are listed in the Manage tab.Â
Origin Source Types are captured during the Schema Snapshot > Origin Connections > Get Connections Tab process.
They are used to identify the type of the Origin Connections (e.g. folder, ODBC, OLEDB).
There are no IPDF default values.
Step-by-step guide
Select a unique Name for this grouping
Enter a freeform text Description so that you remember the context for creating and using this grouping
Use the drop down list to pick the Schema Snapshot that you will use to idenify the Origin Tables to be included in the automatic QVD script generation
In the Origin Tables section either select the check box in the header ( to SELECT ALL) or individually check entries to limit the number of builder applications to create
When the Grouped* check box is selected, each of the entries in step 4 will have Qlik script generated that will be placed on a separate script section in one Qlik Sense applicationÂ
When the Grouped* check box is not seleccted, each of the entries in step 4 will have an individual Qlik Sense application created for it.
QS App Template provides a drop down list of templates that could be applied to this build
Notes - a freeform text field for additional notes
Click the button in the lower right to Create QS Apps
A progress bar appears while the applications are being generated followed by a success or error message.
* The implication of the decision to check or un-check the Grouped box is this: (selected) A single application with multiple tabs of load script will execute in sequence. (not selected) allows for the possibility to run several applications simultaneously.  Customers should strike a balance of grouped and ungrouped script to balance the number of builders to manage, the number of tasks to schedule and the capacity for parallel processing on their implementation of Qlik Sense.
